Artifact 1: Suzanne Collins Website Redesign
This is a redesign project. I took Suzanne Collins website and redesigned it so it would cater to her ideal audience. I used and created Personas to help address main improvements to the website. I also cleaned up the look of her original website, eased the navigation, and stayed consistent with the style. This artifact shows that I am able to use design principles to accommodate to a certain audience. This artifact connects to substandard 5a because I was able to use technology to create a personalized website that fit the audiences' needs.

Artifact 2: Family of Designs
This project is related to Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB). I wanted to find ways to get students excited and engaged in participating in OBOB. Through this family of designs I applied design principles to create several cohesive designs that could be used to promote OBOB. Ideally these would be displayed around the school/classroom or given to students. This artifact connects to substandard 5c.

Artifact 3: Podcast
Podcasts can be used for many different purposes. They range from educational to pure entertainment and everything in between. It is another media that can be created and shared with others. The podcast I created is called Teach. Create. Innovate. and it discusses preparing for my first year of teaching as well as distance learning tools. This artifact connects to substandard 5b because I was able to use digital tools to create the podcast, but it provided a learning experience that also discusses other digital tools that educators can use.

Artifact 4: DIY Glitter Ornament Video
This artifact was inspired by a previous tutorial video I had seen online that was hard to follow. I wanted to make a tutorial that was easy to follow and very focused on the task. I also found a way to include social media in this and made it using TikTok's video creator, and then later posted to my TikTok. To my surprise the video was viewed by over 10.8 thousand people. This artifact is connected to substandard 5a because I was able to reduce the cognitive demand of the viewer, which met the needs of a viewer better.

Artifact 5: Online Resume
This artifact was created when I was job searching for a teaching position. I wanted to find a way that would allow me to share more about myself than what was offered in the typical teaching job application. Within this webpage I included information about myself, my educational philosophy, lesson portfolio, as well as my certifications. This connects to substandard 5c because I was able to use design principles that allowed the viewer to learn more about me.
