Artifact 1: Online Meeting Expectation Infograpic
As a teacher I am used to creating positive environments within the classroom. When COVID-19 hit I had to create a positive and encouraging learning environment that was online based. I introduced this through establishing some ground expectations that students would follow. This was one of the first things that were posted in our Google Classroom page. This artifact connects with substandard 3a because it provided clear expectation that created positive learning experiences.

Artifact 2: Digital Citizenship Focused Lesson Plan
Part of my job is to make sure students know how to stay safe online. I put together a lesson plan that introduces digital citizenship to students through the use of Google's "Be Internet Awesome" program. When students know what digital citizenship is they are able to model what it is like to be safe online. This lesson plan is connected to substandard 3c because it provides a learning experience that goes over safety and protection in an online environment.

Artifact 3: Flipgrid Classroom Community
This past year of teaching we faced the difficulty of going back and forth from being in person and being online for school. I was able to use the online program Flipgrid to help build a learning environment that allowed students and teachers to communicate and discuss topics. One of my favorite parts was that students were able to share videos of themselves, which allowed students to see each other even though they were in their homes and not physically in school. I am unable to share my classroom Flipgrid page due to student privacy, but what I will include is a tutorial on how to use Flipgrid. The Flipgrid program can be connected to substandard 3b because it allow students to be creative while giving them an opportunity to do it in an online platform that works with digital media.
