ISTE 1: Learner

Educators continually improve their practice by learning from and with others and exploring proven and promising practices that leverage technology to improve student learning. Educators:

Artifact 1: Graphic Design Progression

This design progression shows my ability to grow and develop skills based around graphic design, this connects to substandard 1a. I've learned what aspects make design good or bad. I am now able to use what I learned through this project and apply it to my future work for myself, as well as my students.

Artifact 2: Social Media Connection

I have been able to connect with other educators through different social media platforms, this relates to substandard 1b. On some platforms I have even created a separate profile that is specifically for this reason. I have learned so much through what other educators have shared such as: classroom management, technology tips, and programs to use within the classrooms.

Artifact 3: Written Essays and Reading List

Throughout the program I have read and viewed recent research in education, especially in educational technology. One of the exit requirements was to create three written pieces that incorporated recent research and learning sciences. This artifact connects to substandard 1c because I have applied the recent research in my own essays and a reading list.
