Introduction:
This section of the OER is meant to provide resources that are in the format of training. This allows educators and school staff to not only be knowledgable on the topic of trauma, but to also have techniques in working with children who are experiencing or have experienced trauma.
Resources:
This resource has 7 modules that provides activities to practice the different aspects of trauma. These practices could be a great addition to staff meetings and professional development.

This resource goes more in depth with development of the brain and how trauma can affect the development. This resource gives great information regarding trauma and how it affects the brain. This resource is in the formate of a book. While this book is geared towards refugees and newcomers in the classroom, there is specific information on trauma that refugees and newcomers may have been affected by, as well as best practices for the classroom. Section 2 of the book has the majority of information on trauma.
