Trauma,
Adverse Childhood Experiences, & Social-Emotional Learning
Lauren Tennyson
Introduction
The purpose of this OER is to provide resources to gain new information, trainings, and lessons on trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and social-emotional learning (SEL). So many students are impacted by trauma and ACEs stem from that trauma. My hope is that through the resources provided in this OER that educators and school staff can be more educated and equipped to handle difficult situations and use SEL in their classrooms to further help their students.
This OER is organized by topic. You'll see in the navigation bar at the top, there are the topics of Trauma, ACEs, SEL, and References & Resources. Each topic is broken up into sections to make it easier to navigate and use.

I hope this is especially helpful as teachers and school staff go back to teaching during/after the pandemic!

Please note: That while what I have created is an OER, it is necessary for you to confirm/double check the licenses for each of the items before you decide to use them as the licensing terms/rights statement may have changed over time.

Contact me if you have any suggestions or additions!
Thank you.
